Each of the forty-six counties in South Carolina has a popularly elected Clerk of Court who serves a four-year term. The Clerk of Court provides administrative support to the Criminal, Civil, and Family Court divisions.

Mission Statement:

Provide efficient and effective service for the citizens of Lancaster County with professionalism and compassion.


All in-person courtroom proceedings statewide beginning on or after January 11, 2021 are suspended until further notice.

Hearings may be conducted using remote communication technology to avoid the need for a physical appearance.
