The Geographic Information System (GIS) Department is responsible for acquiring, maintaining and distributing spatial data for Lancaster County. The Department provides spatial data products and services to County Departments as well as to the general public.
GIS can be used to identify problems, monitor change, manage and respond to events, perform forecasting, set priorities, and understand trends.

Lancaster County GIS will soon unveil Enhanced QPublic for GIS . Customers will be able to view tax parcel information as usual but have the ability to view additional GIS layers as well as download GIS data, and common PDF maps. More information to follow.
