 The Geographic Information System (GIS) Department is responsible for acquiring, maintaining and distributing spatial data for Lancaster County. The Department provides spatial data products and services to County Departments as well as to the general public. GIS can be used to identify problems, monitor change, manage and respond to events, perform forecasting, set priorities, and understand trends. |
